Corporate Social Responsibility
Our mission is to support initiatives that improve lives, promote safety and security, and give back to our community. We fulfill this mission by partnering with charitable organizations, participating in crisis relief, promoting safety, and investing in our youth.
Because our business is based on helping people through insurance services, corporate social responsibility (CSR) comes naturally to us. From the start, our goal has been to make a difference. Though Freeway has grown to become one of the nation’s leading independent insurance providers, our commitment to our core values has never waned.

our employees are truly involved in their communities.
They understand and care about the people they serve.
We’re passionate about engaging in activities that positively impact our community. Our CSR initiative supports a variety of charitable endeavors, responds to emergency needs, promotes safety, and invests in our youth. We encourage employees to contribute their time, talent, and resources toward these initiatives. Our partners include:
Insurance Industry Initiatives
Freeway is deeply committed to the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF). Our leadership role on the board of this industry-wide philanthropy supports programs that serve children, schools, and communities. Through IICF, Freeway has joined forces with other insurance professionals to fund 47 different organizations, including At the Crossroads, Family Bridges Foundation, Laura’s House, OC Child Abuse Prevention Center, and Tierra del Sol.
Freeway Insurance Toys for Tots Partnership
Freeway’s community involvement further comes to light in its partnership with Toys for Tots. A nationwide initiative of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, this program collects and distributes toys and smiles to youngsters during the holiday season. It’s a goodwill gesture that helps children become responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. The Freeway family embraces this opportunity and others to make a direct, positive impact on the communities they serve.
SLAM Foundation
The mission of the SLAM foundation is to prepare historically underserved children for college and successful careers. In 2012, GRAMMY®-award winning singer and passionate education advocate Armando Christian Pérez (Pitbull) opened the first Miami location and now, more than 8,000 students attend SLAM schools in 4 states. With a sports-based foundation, the vision of SLAM is to position students for success while developing them to make a positive impact on society.
